THE HEART HARNESS
90-minute class
Tie along – Intermediate/ Advanced – Hardpoints needed
Inspired by my ex-metamour’s heart complication and pacemaker surgery, I molded and shaped this harness to not only create a sustainable chest harness for myself, but to make sure she could do rope again and again without having to worry about protecting her heart.
Traditional Takate Gotes can be difficult for any bottom. For those who have limited flexibility, shoulder issues, or are top heavy, this alternative box tie is the perfect thing for you. This front-hands chest harness is extremely sustainable for bigger bodies and prevents shoulder strain and possible exhaustion as seen in a traditional TK. Personally this harness saved me as a bottom and today, I don’t know what I would do without it.
Don’t focus on the patterns! Modify placements and chest straps to make this harness your own. Load from any angle with options to create any shape.
Pre-requisites:
Both riggers and bottoms should be experienced in suspension, be able to communicate through ties, and have safety tools.
- Cynna will demo tie and talk through the steps of the harness, upline, and attachment point options
- The group will do a step by step tie along
- Partials or full suspensions are optional to lab out the harness
- 10-minute decompression discussion
PUT ANOTHER WRAP ON IT: Cynna’s TK Variation
90-minute class
Tie along- Intermediate/ Advanced – Hardpoints needed
I don’t know about you, but I LOVE Takate Gotes. Unfortunately, my body DOES NOT love them. I wanted to create a way to make a TK more sustainable without taking away from the aesthetics of the tie. This TK variation simply adds an extra two top bands spaced out and hojo cuffs supporting the arms for those who sit in low hands.
Prerequisites:
Both riggers and bottoms should be experienced in suspension, have tied multiple TK’s before, be able to communicate through ties, and have safety tools.
- Cynna will demo tie and talk through the steps of the harness, upline, and attachment point options
- The group will do a step by step tie along
- Partials or full suspensions are optional to lab out the harness
- 10-minute decompression discussion
THE FULL MOON: Dynamic Suspension
1.5-2-hour class
Tie along – Advanced – Hardpoints needed
Inspired by the phases of the moon, this 4-part sequence starts in a face up running man, using the heart harness, takes a dramatic lift into a bridge with the hip harness of your choosing, into a complete inversion to make our ‘full moon’.
We finish this sequence with a smooth descent into a fallen partial with the chest harness.
Pre-reqs:
Both riggers and bottoms should be experienced in suspension, be able to communicate through ties, and have safety tools. Riggers and bottoms must know a suspension worthy chest harness, (here we will be using the Heart Harness), know a suspension worthy hip harness (we will use a variation of Gorgone’s hip harness) ,and have 8-12 pieces of rope.
THE FAT GIRL FUTO/ THE FAT BOTTOM’S FUTO
90-minute class
Tie along – Intermediate/ Advanced – hardpoints preferred but not needed
Sometimes as an alternative body type you just need to add a few bands to make something work. In this case, lets add a more and more bands for this fuotmomo variation. As a bottom I couldn’t sustain futos with thin or single bands. So one day I just kept wrapping and wrapping until I found the perfect futomomo for me. This three layer, double banded futo will take weight off of the shins and support the thigh.
Prerequisites:
Both riggers and bottoms should be experienced in suspension, be able to communicate through ties, and have safety tools. Riggers and bottoms must have at least 4 pieces of rope.
- Cynna will demo tie and talk through the steps of the tie, upline, and attachment point options
- The group will do a step by step tie along
- Partials or full suspensions are optional to lab out the tie
- 10-minute decompression discussion
